Game jam: Ludum Dare 46

The Heart Pieces is a puzzle game in top-down view. The player has to bring back heart pieces spread out throughout each level back to a dying heart so that they can save it within a limited time. Each piece brought back to the heart will increase the remaining time before the game is over, so finding them in the right order is critical.

This game is my first participation to the compo version of the Ludum Dare, more strict than the jam version. The game had to be done alone, in 48 hours (vs. 72 hours in the jam version) and every asset (graphics or sounds) had to be original. Under those strong conditions, I was able to create this game with Unity, with the theme “Keep It Alive”, while creating every single part of the game.
