Game jam : Scientific Game Jam 2023

Glass Cave is a narrative puzzle game designed during the Scientific Game Jam 2023. The game draws inspiration from Eden DZIK's thesis, "Taking up the challenge of the glass transition by optical manipulation of molecules."

In Glass Cave, you play as a small mushroom that accidentally falls into a chasm, landing in the middle of a village populated by little glass creatures known as Glassies. To clear the way and return home, the mushroom must solve a puzzle that, although simple in its current version, is set to be the centerpiece of an ambitious puzzle game inspired by Pikmin and exploring the different physical states of glass.

I was the only Unity developer on this project, completed in 48 hours. This created a significant technical challenge, requiring the development of a complex architecture within the given time frame. This architecture notably encompassed the interactions between the player and their environment and the implementation of user interfaces. The project is planned to be expanded and further developed in future versions.
