Ride Out is a musical runner where the player embodies a character escaping a massive technology collapse. Their goal is to go through 10 levels where different obstacles will stand on their path, synchronized with the background music's rhythm. The game aims to have an outstanding visual and musical identity through the different assets created for the game.
This game was my first participation in a game jam. Indeed, it was created as a submission for the 39th edition of the Ludum Dare jam. The goal was to design and create a game in 72 hours on a specific theme : Running Out of Power. I was able to contribute on the development of the different gameplay mechanics and also on the level design.
